The Los Angeles Lakers again failed to win back to back games losing to the Milwaukee Bucks 103 to 113. The loss puts the Lakers in a tough spot now tied with the Utah Jazz for the 8th playoff spot. A tie that does not favor the Lakers because they have lost the season series with the Jazz.
Larry Sanders led the way for the Bucks scoring 21 points. Ersan Ilyasova and Brandon Jennings both had 20 points each. Jennings did not have trouble like he did in the earlier meeting between the teams where he said Kobe Bryant had played the toughest defense he has faced since entering the league.
Kobe fell shy of passing Wilt Chamberlain on the all time scoring list but led the Lakers with 30 points.(4 points behind Wilt Chamberlain ) Steve Nash had 16 points while Dwight Howard scored 15. Jodie Meeks scored 11 points, replacing Metta World Peace in the starting line up, who had successful surgery on his left knee.
Injuries continue to haunt the Lakers. It was reported that Nash had a spasm on his hip and Bryant had a bone spur in his left foot. Both are expected to be evaluated and hope to be ready for the next game that will be in Sacramento against the Kings.
